Atlantic View Bungalows

Atlantic View Bungalows are situated at the southern end of Widemouth Bay, which lies about three miles south of Bude on the glorious North Cornish coastline, in an area of unspoilt beauty. The Bungalows offer a superb holiday location, a literal stone’s throw from the mile long sandy beach, with an abundance of rock pools at either end at low tide. Widemouth Bay is well known for its surfing, the sea is renowned for its ‘excellent quality’ and the beach, which is an award winner, is lifeguarded from early May to late September.

There are five well-furnished and equipped bungalows (plus the owners’ residence), all adjoining at least one other, and all vary in size and outlook. All enjoy spectacular views of the sea and coastline. The property is set within one and a half acres of informal grounds with direct access to the beach. There are lawned garden areas, a large recreation field, and an attractive and relaxing sun terrace.

All the bungalows have full double glazing and electric heating. Living areas have comfortable lounge suites, digital TV and DVD player, dining table and chairs. Kitchen areas are fully fitted and equipped with full-size cooker, fridge, microwave, etc. Duvets and bed linen are included – towels available for a small charge. There is also a payphone, freezer and laundry room with coin-operated washing machine and tumble drier.

1 - CORMORANT
Sleeps 7. Spectacular lounge/dining room with picture windows on three sides and direct access to sun terrace. Fully equipped kitchen including freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher. 3 Bedrooms – one family suite with double and single bed plus ensuite bathroom; two twin bedrooms; shower room. All principal rooms enjoy beach/sea views.
Own garden area with picnic table.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge to sleep one additional person

2 - GUILLEMOT
Sleeps 6. Attractive lounge/dining room with doors to small patio, sea views. Kitchen area. 3 Bedrooms – one double bedroom with sea views; two twin bedrooms, one on the first floor with sea views. Bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Lawned area shared with Kittiwake.

3 - KITTIWAKE
Sleeps 4/5 Lounge/dining room/kitchen area with sea views from kitchen area. 2 Bedrooms with sea views – one double, one twin. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Lawned area shared with Guillemot.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge to sleep one additional person

4 - SANDPIPER
Sleeps 4. Lounge/dining/kitchen area with patio doors/sea views. 2 Bedrooms with sea views – one double, one twin. Shower room. Lawned area for sitting out

5 - Puffin
Sleeps 3 (4 in July/August). Lounge/dining room/kitchen area with sea views from the kitchen. 2 Bedrooms – one with double bed, one with single bed (bunk beds July and August). Shower room. Note: Puffin is outside Enjoy England star rating scheme because the double bedroom does not have an outside opening window. However, there is a vent and borrowed natural light from the hall.
