Hotel/B&B Accommodation

Sunrise Guesthouse – Can be accessed by a double French door, enabling access by wheelchairs and baby buggies. There is a small step into the house. They have a ground floor double en-suite room available for guests who find stairs difficult but the room is not suitable for guests who have to use a wheelchair whilst in the room, although it is wheelchair accessible. At the booking page of this website, this room is identified as Double ensuite – Ground Floor room 1.

Oak Lodge B&B have a ground floor annexe (double en-suite with a walk in shower).  The annexe has a ramp for access.  It is suitable for guests who cannot manage stairs, disabled and people with a well behaved dog. The bedroom and en-suite can be accessed by wheelchair, but the wheelchair user cannot get around the other side of the bed in their wheelchair.  This room is identified by the name of The Acorn (Annexe). Access into the house, sitting/dining room and decking all on one level.

Self Catering Accommodation

Forda Lodges and Cottages offer fully inspected and rated accommodation for guests with impaired mobility. The cottage (Forda Stables) is rated level M3 (assisted and independent) under the National　Accessible　Standards.  In addition, Forda Barn and lodges Beech and Ash have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms but there are steps into the buildings. The amenities (tennis courts, sauna, laundry room and pool etc) have been designed with guests with impaired mobility in mind.

10 Brightlands apartment is a studio with a ground floor bedroom and walk in shower.

4 Brightlandsis a 2 bedroom apartment with ground floor bedrooms and walk in shower. Pets accepted by prior arrangement

Atlantic View Bungalows have 5 bungalows in total, all with ground floor bedrooms and walk in showers. Wheelchair users have used the bungalows called Kittiwake and Guillemot reasonably successfully. However, for more details please visit their website or give them a call to discuss requirements.

Ivyleaf Barton Cottages have 7 cottages in total, Linhay (sleeps 2) and has a ground floor bedroom and walk in shower. Byre (sleeps 2) and The Stables (sleeps 7) have ground floor bedrooms. Pets accepted by prior arrangement

Little Leighs (sleeps 6) and Pond Meadow (sleeps 6) both have a twin ground floor bedroom and access to a walk in shower at ground floor level. Pets accepted by prior arrangement in Little Leighs.

The Roundhouse (sleeps 4) has been converted for wheelchair users and pets are accepted by prior arrangement.

Old Lifeboat House Apartments - Has a ground floor bedroom and a sofa bed so can sleep 2- 4 people

Villa Nostra – A single unit with 2 bedrooms all on one level.

Langfield Manor have had guests using wheelchairs, but there are steps into the shower room.  They do not claim to be 100% accessible. 

Carefree Holidays (The Lodge, Coombe View and Manor Bungalow) offer ground floor accommodation, and may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The Waves holiday apartment offer ground floor accommodation and is accessible for wheelchair users.  The shower is not walk-in.

Briar Patch at Trevalgos is a modern, bungalow-style property so once inside, all accommodation is on one level.  From the nearby reserved parking space, there are three steps on to the front patio and two further steps into the property.  There are also three steps from a side door to/from the rear garden.  There is a comprehensive Access Statement (in PDF format) for Briar Patch on the Trevalgas web site.

Camping & Caravans

Bude Meadows Touring Park has 2 disabled toilet facilities, one located at each toilet block. The facilities both comprise of a shower, toilet and sink.
