Just a mile or two from the town centre is a modern, traditional style cinema showing the latest Big Screen releases.  Disabled wheelchair access is available on ground level and a loop-induction system has been installed for the hard of hearing. The Rebel has recently been fully refurbished with comfortable seats, air conditioning and cutting-edge Dolby & DTS sound systems ready to show some more great films.  Cinema listings can be viewed here.

A stranded arts and entertainment programme featuring drama, classical music, opera, children’s shows, popular music (including rock, jazz, folk and roots), contemporary dance, ballet, amateur shows, visual arts and community events. In addition we run a wide-ranging arts education and outreach programme for people of all ages.
