Once again

Bude’s five beaches have gained Seaside Awards given by ENCAMS who run the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign.

The Environmental Agency tests bathing water quality and only beaches which pass the EU minimum standards plus the strict Seaside Award management criteria are allowed to fly the Seaside Award flag. The awards started in 1992 and both Sandymouth and Widemouth beaches at Bude were pioneering winners and have succeeded in achieving the awards every single year since - quite a feat.

Widemouth

Crackington Haven
