Bude Brand

A note from the design team:
"Having conducted a brand workshop with the team, it was clear that there were several unique characteristics to Bude that needed to be captured within the new brand. One principle that ran through all the discussions was the “Discovery” aspect and the need to represent the true nature of the location. Our solution depicts several of the unique qualities in a literal representation “showing” and “inviting” the audience to discover more about the real Bude. 

The stamp treatment reinforces this principle as it will be applied in a “wish you were here” manner to entice the audience. The stamp will also imply a “stamp of approval” and show that it is an official piece of marketing. We looked at several styles of illustration to help support our message and opted for a fairly “fun and informal” approach to show that Bude is a welcoming, friendly and positive destination in Cornwall."
