The Bay View Inn Restaurant

Our superb restaurant only serves the freshest food and quite simply you will taste the difference. The imaginative use of local produce allows us to set ourselves apart by offering Cornish twists to favourite dishes, for example a Bay View Cheeseburger is not ‘any old’ Cheeseburger but 6oz burger made with pure bred, hung, locally reared Aberdeen Angus Beef , made by Bude Meats and topped with either Whalesborough Farm Miss Muffet Cheese (our neighbouring farm) or Cornish Blue Cheese.

A simple smoked mackerel salad is made fresher and more tasty by using Tregida Smoked Mackerel, Our ‘Ploughman’s Ciabatta’ is made unique by using Cornish Yarg and home made marmalade instead of ‘Cheddar and Branston’.

You get to enjoy the freshest food, with fabulous flavours. So much mass produced food has little texture & relies on preservatives, flavourings and vast quantities of salt to give it taste. Our produce has the benefit of small farming methods which ensure that the flavour of the food itself shines through, (without all the additives) the quality flavour and texture of our dishes give you a chance to taste food as it should be!
