The
Bude area – where coast meets countryside – is not just
about holidays by the sea – far from it. We aim to protect natural
habitats and greatly appreciate our wonderful natural heritage. The
following list of sightings has been prepared by North Cornwall District
Council’s Heritage Coast & Countryside Service
and although Charlie & Tim tell me they may have missed a few, I
think you’ll agree they show the incredible natural diversity
of our region.
My
thanks to the Heritage & Countryside Service for allowing me to
publish their lists – catch up with their activities by picking
up a copy of their free paper “Coastlines”
at any local tourist information centre – it features tons of
useful information including many guided walks throughout the year. |
