Type: Animal Collection

The Donkey Park is Cornwall’s only donkey sanctuary situated in beautiful Cornish countryside, overlooking the Tamar Valley with views to Plymouth Sound, between Gunnislake and Callington. It is the home to 31 donkeys, over 20 goats, ponies, sheep, pigs, rabbits and more. The Donkey Drop-In all weather play barn, provides a great indoor play for the children.

The sanctuary survives only by the entry charge and the Adopt-a-Donkey scheme. Donkey rides for children. Only 3 miles from Callington, 20 minutes from the Tamar Bridge and 30 minutes from Looe with outdoor and indoor play, a café, a picnic area and a gift shop; a visit to the park makes an enjoyable day out for children and adults alike.
