We have been a venue for civil ceremonies for just over one year and becoming increasingly busy as more and more couples discover what a fascinating historic building The Castle is, and what a stunning location.  It was designed and built by Cornish inventor, Sir Goldsworthy Gurney discoverer of, amongst other things, limelight.

The gallery is the ideal venue for civil ceremonies being light and airy while intimate as the same time.  Then you can use our unique venue and beautiful setting as the stunning backdrop to your wedding photographs. Remember at The Castle Bude we’ll help you create the wedding of your dreams.  The room seats a maximum of 60 people.

Trevigue Wedding Venue, near BudeTrevigue

Nestling in a hollow, high on the cliffs of the spectacular North Cornwall coast, the 16th Century farmstead of Trevigue is a unique and inspiring wedding venue set amidst stunning scenery and offering excellent facilities for the ceremony and reception.

At Trevigue, we cater for small weddings up to 45 people. We are also happy to cater for weddings comprising just the couple themselves (where we will provide witnesses). The tailor-made ceremony takes place in a beautifully converted building with a magnificent vaulted beamed ceiling and flagstone slate floor.

Our award winning restaurant, which is available for the reception, leads directly from the room in which the wedding ceremony takes place.


Bullers Arms Wedding Suite, BudeBullers Arms, Maramchurch

For those wishing to host a function or event, we have one of the largest function suites in the North Cornwall and West Devon areas with a dining capacity of 150, seating capacity of 200,  and standing/dancing event capacity of 300 persons. The 'Redvers' suite also has the facility of its own dedicated fully stocked bar and cellar. We work closely with our customers to tailor our service to individual needs and would welcome the opportunity to discuss any event you may wish to hold. Weddings, Birthday & Anniversary parties, business functions, charity events, club dinners, whatever your celebration we will do our utmost to cater for your needs.

Poundstock Gildhouse, near BudePoundstock Gildhouse

The Gildhouse is a beautiful, recently restored 500 year old building, nestled in a valley a few miles south of Bude.  Built during the reign on Henry VIII to serve the parish of Poundstock, it has since been used as a school, poorhouse and village hall.

Both floors offer an amazing place for a unique special day.  An intimate venue for up to 60 people seated, or 80-100 standing. 


Bude Tourist Information Centre share the building with the Registrar, and there are two rooms available.
