The Environment:

We are passionate about preserving our natural surroundings for future generations to enjoy so the lodges have been meticulously planned to make sure we are doing as much as possible to create low impact self catering accommodation in Cornwall.

Each lodge has passive ventilation with heat recovery and triple glazing. The power to each property is supported by solar panels and the roofs are sedum helping them to blend into their natural surroundings as well as provide microclimates for insects and birds. Inside, the properties have air source heat pumps that absorb heat from the outside, which is then used to heat the lodges and produce hot water making them super energy efficient.

Gwelva Hills has been created by the Colwill family, the same family that own Wooda Farm Holiday Park. The lodges have been built in an adjacent meadow to the park so it is just a short walk to use all the fantastic facilities Wooda has to offer such as woodland walks, fishing lake, tennis, gym equipment, farm animals, shop, takeaway mountain bike trail, bar, cocktail bar and so much more.
