Huts 43 to 49 are medium beach huts on the Lower Terrace area of Summerleaze Beach. They are larger than the small beach huts on other areas of the beach, and the group size should not exceed 6 people.
These huts have amazing and uninterrupted views of Summerleaze Beach, the sea and harbour. There is a large paved area in front which provides plenty of space for chairs and very little passing traffic. There is a low wall in front of the huts. The huts are accessed from the beach or from the Upper Terrace which houses beach huts above.
Looking from the beach (with your back to the sea) there is a small slipway and six concrete steps and from the right there is a staircase to take you onto the sand. At either end of the row of huts there are steps up to Life’s a Beach cafe.
The beach is just below the huts, so you have a good view of the sand and you are within calling distance if you are a family with children who want to play on the beach.
Hut 43 is in the middle with a red door and hut 49 is on the end with a turquoise door. Each colourful hut has three windows (the door window has a window blind) and inside there is a bench on either side and a drop-down table at the back.
These medium sized beach huts are ideal to use as a base, store belongings, shelter from the breeze and to prepare lunch. They are not suitable for overnight use, and to ensure all hut users are able to enjoy their time on the beach, we ask that large families/groups book multiple adjoining huts.
The Summerleaze Beach Office stocks a large range of reasonably priced beach goods, games and toys along with windbreaks and beach chairs.
Summerleaze Beach is one of few beaches to have been awarded Keep Britain Tidy’s Seaside Award, which celebrates the quality and diversity of England’s coastline.
