Converted from an old cob barn, Seagull combines traditional character with contemporary style – its original walls are over two feet thick!

The ground floor is open plan, with a stylish lounge and dining area alongside a fully equipped Shaker-style kitchen, complete with cooker, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher.

Upstairs, the cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms finished to a high standard:

A king-sized double bedroom
A second bedroom with a single bed plus full-sized bunks – ideal for children or friends sharing

There is also a beautifully appointed shower room with a power shower. The cottage is fully centrally heated, making it welcoming in every season.

From the living room, sliding glass doors open onto a private patio, furnished with table, seating, and a gas BBQ – a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The front of the cottage faces south, ensuring it catches the sun throughout the day. Outside, the cottage sits along a charming walkway lined with hanging baskets and fig trees, adding to its appeal.

Seagull is a dog-friendly cottage, ideal for families or small groups looking for comfort, charm, and a little slice of sunshine.

Selecting a holiday that provides something for everyone and keeps the whole family happy, can be a challenge. The cottages are set in secluded grounds, almost half a mile from the nearest road. Broomhill Manor’s location, enormous lawn and car free cottage areas, means that children have plenty of room and freedom to run around and play in safety. Our guests tell us that no matter what time of the year and whatever the weather, there are many things to keep the whole family entertained at Broomhill Manor! And if you are holidaying with pre-school children, you will also be thinking about the mountain of baby equipment that is needed – so we take that worry away, too!
