The Upper Terrace has two rows of Beach Huts.
The front row has four huts, 24, 26, 27 and 29. These huts have uninterrupted views of Summerleaze Beach, the sea and harbour. Situated on a large paved area there is ample space for sitting out with chairs. The metal railings for safety are great for drying towels and wetsuits. The beach is below so by sitting closer to the railings you have a good view of the sand. You are within calling distance if you are a family with children who want to play on the beach.
Deluxe Large Hut 24 is on the corner and is the first hut you come to. (On the left if you are looking up from the beach with blue double doors). It’s a large hut, ideal for a bigger group but your party should not exceed 10 people. It has double doors that open out fully it comes with an ‘L’ shaped bench, large kitchen work top (with small gas stove) and two reclining garden chairs. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and water are provided with mugs, glasses, cutlery and plates for four people.
Beach huts are ideal to use as a base, store belongings, shelter from the breeze and to prepare lunch. They are not suitable for overnight use, and to ensure all hut users are able to enjoy their time on the beach, we ask that large families/groups book multiple huts. Or a larger hut, these can be found on Summerleaze Green, Lower Terrace, Crooklets Central, Crooklets North and the Extra Large Huts on Summerleaze.
The Summerleaze Beach Office stocks a large range of reasonably priced beach goods, games and toys. A limited number of windbreaks and deckchairs are available to hire from the Beach Office.
Summerleaze Beach is one of few beaches to have been awarded Keep Britain Tidy’s Seaside Award, which celebrates the quality and diversity of England’s coastline.
