We are a 13th Century country pub, riddled with history and intrigue. Whatever the weather you can come inside, soak up the atmosphere and keep warm and cosy by the open fire in Winter. In the Summer you and the children will enjoy the outdoor seating and play area in our beer garden with beautiful sea views.
Whether you are looking for a place to stay, a midday snack, an evening meal or a great night out at the weekend, why not pop in and say hi!
The Hideaway is a self contained converted pottery with amazing views and a double bedroom including a claw footed roll top bath. There is a fully functioning kitchen, living room with its own multi-fuel stove, and double bedroom with ensuite toilet.
To the rear of the Hideaway is a private seating area where you can enjoy the views of the sea with a drink during those beautiful, long sunny summer evenings. We allow well behaved dogs to stay at The Hideaway as long as they are kept out of the bedroom’. We are open all day long, all year round. Serving tasty food (see current serving times) and real ales as well as other delicious beverages all the way until closing time.
