A 1½-mile walk through the Woodland Trust leads to the coast at Marsland Mouth, with its beautiful combe and river.

Sandy beach (Sandymouth Bay) is just 5-miles away.

Very warm welcome. Scones, clotted cream and jam plus a bottle of wine in the fridge! Comfortable beds, open fire (made up for our arrival!), home from home. Great holiday. Bude a short drive away. We hope to return.

We loved it at the shippen the owners were so helpful to us and we loved the cottage xx

Liz

A lovely cottage with everything we needed and the children enjoyed exploring the garden. The owners were friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have wished for a more relaxing stay.

We’d rather not put a glowing recommendation on here as we would really like to keep this to ourselves. Like our secret perfect holiday home. I suppose that is a bit selfish really – so, Andy and Pam were really friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. The cottage was perfect for our needs and in a lovely location. But please, keep it a secret. Definitely will be booking again, and again, and again…..! Thank you we had the best time
