Thomas Acland Apartment

Thomas Acland is a ground-floor apartment, converted from the historic Old Lifeboat House on the bank of the Bude Canal, just across the road from the Brendon Arms.  Sleeps two in a double bedroom and two children on a sofa bed.

It’s a very short and easy walk to the town centre, harbour and Summerleaze Beach.  The apartment is small but perfectly adequate for two adults and two children.  Outside, you have a small seating area and the waters edge is a metre or two away!  There’s a parking space by the front door.

The apartment offers an open plan lounge/kitchen diner with a fully fitted kitchen.  The living area also has a dining table and chairs, two sofas (one of which converts into a double bed) and the bedroom has a double bed.  The bathroom has a shower.

The first Bude Lifeboat House, now converted into four modern holiday apartments was built by Sir Thomas Acland, a prominent West Country landowner and politician in 1863.

Fantastic apartment for two people, has got everything you need, a nice touch by the owners leaving a little carton of milk tea bags and coffee for when you arrive.  You are right in the centre for shops and beach, no need to use the car unless you go further a field.  Just one little niggle would like blackout curtains or blind in the bedroom.
