Tregole Farm Hayloft
The Hayloft offers a cosy and characteristic accommodation for 2 adults and a faithful four legged friend. As the name suggests the cottage was historically the hayloft attached to the farm house, we believe originally built 300 years ago. This part of the building is unfortunately one of the only historic parts of the farmhouse left, with the loft access still visible in the drop slate edge of the building. This annex to farm house has a fully equipped kitchen, open planned to the sitting room with open fire. The conservatory provides a relaxing place to dine with views of the cottage garden. Upstairs will be found a double bedroom leading to full sized bathroom with a large roll top bath, for a relaxing soak following your adventures on the Cornish coast path.
Basket of logs (provided from our own woodland at Tregole), kindling, firelighters and matches provided and can be replenished for an additional cost.
At Tregole Farm, we welcome participation from visitors in our daily tasks. Our main stock is sheep, so there are particular times of the year which are busier than others especially lambing time. We also have a small herd of Pygmy goats and provide winter housing for Dairy cattle.
The local Victorian seaside town of Bude, famous for its clean beaches and historic canal once used to transport sand. Offers all main facilities required including a range of supermarkets, shops providing local produce, good choice of eateries. Less than a 10 minute drive is Widemouth bay, again offering great pubs and eateries. If you are looking for the locals pub the Wainhouse Inn 2 miles away, offers excellent pub food and local Ales.
