The Wagoners, formerly a wagon house in 1907 has been tastefully converted, decorated and furnished, most of which has been locally handmade, in traditional country style. Featuring beamed ceilings and an open plan layout with some beautiful exposures of the original stone wall. The Wagoners sits amongst two other converted barns (The Olde Coach House and the Stable Barn) in a courtyard formation on the south side. The sitting area and first floor rooms have some spectacular views of the surrounding Cornish countryside.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
There is one ground floor king-size four poster bedroom located opposite the family bathroom with spa bath and shower over.
The first floor hosts the master king-size four poster bedroom with en-suite with walk in rainfall shower. A real delight for younger children (under 10 years of age) is the adjoining twin bedroom that has two single size floor level beds, low ceiling and miniature sized furniture – great for those that want their own bedroom but are not too far away!
Additionally there is a twin room with a family bathroom alongside, featuring a walk in rainfall shower.
Towels and locally made herbal infused toiletries are included.
The property is open plan with a centrally situated wooden staircase. The living area has a television and DVD player with a sliding door that leads to the enclosed garden and patio area.
The open plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine/tumble dryer.
The enclosed garden has a large patio area perfect for those long summer evening BBQs. Just a few metres from the property is the communal play area with trampoline and swings, shared with three of our other family properties, this provides a great opportunity for children to play a variety of games together. There is outside parking for up to three cars.
