Many would agree that Munster Cottage has the most fantastic location in Bude. A few yards from the South West Coast Path, the cottage is perched on the cliff side, overlooking Summerleaze Beach and the Bude Canal. There really are views from every room, so this detached cottage is much-loved and hugely popular.
The town centre is just a five minute stroll, and pets are generally accepted.
A peak-season stay on 2nd July, 2016 is priced at £1617.
A guest who stayed in October 2015 had this to say:
“We had a wonderful week at Munster cottage. Views are outstanding….I saw pictures on the website and thought they must be fake….no they aren’t! You are virtually on the beach which is just over the pretty Bude canal, the sea lock is right in front of the house. The house had all the elements we needed for a perfect holiday, lovely spacious rooms with oak furniture, log fire, well appointed kitchen, deck/veranda over looking the beach. I particularly liked the original features that have been kept intact such as the stripped doors and beautiful porch and front door. We really felt at home here from day one and were really quite sad to go home, we have booked for next year already 🙂 Bude is a really nice town too, not too “‘touristy’…”
Broomhill Manor is perfect in every way. All of the cottages have been completely refurbished and upgraded to combine fresh, contemporary styling with quality and comfort. They are all equipped to a high standard, and are arranged in small courtyards to provide a village-like atmosphere, which being free of vehicles, is a safe and tranquil environment for you and your family.
In total, there are 17 cottages, many with original features, which vary in size from a cosy one bedroom cottage with wood burning stove and en-suite bathroom for two people, to a selection of three bedroomed cottages, sleeping six ; in addition to the cottages, there is also an apartment within the Manor House itself, sleeping six people and with two bathrooms. Some cottages also have private gardens with hot-tubs; the enclosed gardens make these cottages particularly suitable for families with toddlers or dogs.
The facilities on site are great too. The site boasts an indoor pool and Jacuuzi, spa treatments, gym and sauna. Kids will love the play and games rooms and selection of play equipment. Also on site is a lovely heated outdoor swimming pool, riding stables, tennis court, archery tuition and extensive gardens. Parents can enjoy some private time by using the trusted and recommended baby-sitting service.
The location of Broomhill Manor is perfect. A very short distance (less than a ten minute drive) to Bude, easily walkable on the public footpath which skirts the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Course.
A peak-season stay on 9th July, 2016 is priced at £959.
A guest who stayed in July 2015 had this to say:
“We have all loved our stay at Broomhill. The cottage is very well equipped and soon became a home from home. The on-site facilities are wonderful! We used the indoor pool every day and will miss it terribly. Our daughter was particularly excited to get “home” to the cottage each day to go swimming before dinner. She also enjoyed a pony ride on Misprint and
LOVED it! Such a lovely experience for us all. The grounds are all very well looked after. Would love to return…. Thank you Alan and Linda” READ MORE…
Wooda Farm Holiday Park really is a luxury holiday park. However, on the perimeter of the site are two luxurious cottages, Brambles and Tregea.
Brambles enjoys wonderful views of the sea, and is perfect for families. The four bedrooms sleep seven, and the cottage has its own private garden and patio furniture. Visitors really are presented with the wow factor, especially with the well designed kitchen and dining area.
The on-site shop is well stocked with a good selection of popular groceries and a large variety of beers and wines.
The Courtyard Bar & Grill offer a mouth-watering menu (open all year round however in low and mid-season the opening hours are restricted). The bar area periodically plays host to quality entertainment to create a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal or evening drink under the canopy.
Although the holiday park is open from Easter to October, Brambles is available for rent all year round. Brambles really is the perfect place to say if you want to make use of the extensive onsite facilities, but be faraway enough from the other families enjoying their holiday in one of their luxurious holiday home.
Children will love the nature trail quiz and the pixie hunt (the circular route is great for pushchairs and wheelchairs too), along with the indoor and outdoor play areas and games rooms. Do go down to the farm and meet Chocolate, Buttons, Candy and Floss the pigmy goats, friendly chickens and extremely cute lambs!
Although Brambles isn’t suitable for dogs, there are lots of accommodation options on site which do. There is an extensive dog walking area, where your dog can run free for miles! Dogs are also welcome on the woodland walk and farm trail, and in certain areas of the bar and restaurant.
Theres more! There are exciting developments coming to Wooda for 2016 too. Work has started on their new eco-lodges (the plans look amazing), and they are planning to open an exciting new nature trail at their nearby woodland. READ MORE…
