Water Quality in Bude

Water Quality in Bude

The Cleaner Seas Project is a community project in Bude, made up of beach cleaning groups, environmentalists, organisations such as Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Westcountry Rivers Trust and the Environment Agency, plus business owners and individuals who are collectively looking towards a more sustainable future for Bude and in particular to ensure that Bude’s water quality is as high as it can possibly be and its beaches an exemplar to all.

On Monday the 7th November 2016 the latest bathing water quality standards were announced, and Bude has moved from the Good to Excellent standard rating!

This is fantastic news for Bude, and would not have been possible without the support of the community.
