For Shopaholics

If you like to include a little shopping when you are on holiday you will find Bude is the perfect little town.  It has a great selection of cool independent stores, it’s not just the awesome surf shops that attracts visitors, there are vintage fashion shops, art galleries, antiques and collectables. It’s refreshingly diverse with a surprise at every turn, exploring the shops in Bude is a great way to spend an afternoon and only minutes from the beaches and restaurants. Think hip little boutiques, fashion and crafts rather than chain stores and you will get the picture.

Another area for a little shopping trip is the Lower Wharf area next to the canal. The traditional buildings have been renovated to create an art and workshop community.  In the summer months there is a regular outdoor Farmer’s Market too which includes arts, crafts, artisan foods and coffee, plants and local crafts.
