Bude Area Tourist Board are actively working to ensure that all accommodation providers and Airbnb hosts are aware of the rules and regulations involved when accepting a ‘paying guest’. Even if you casually let a spare room for a short period of time, you are bound by the same rules and regulations followed by the professional businesses. When we talk to our visitors (which we do all day, every day), we’ve noticed that people are often surprised to discover that our locally owned accommodation can be cheaper than the rates offered at Premier Inn.

A holiday in Widemouth gives you easy access to many great Cornish sites including some that are right on the doorstep such as Poundstock with its violent and dramatic history, 14th Century church and Tudor Guildhouse, the only one of its type in the county. Widemouth itself has an interesting church, diminutive in size but large in character, the tiny church was built in 1929 and is definitely worth seeking out.
