Every visitor to Bude should pay a visit to the Rustic Tea Garden at Northcott Mouth. Located right by the beach and the South West Coast Path, it’s not only an essential stop off point for refreshments - it’s a Bude institution! Massive Cornish Cream Teas and a selection of hot and cold snacks are on offer. You’ll hear Margaret’s laugh as you approach her gardens... she’s there every day from 10am until around 6pm from April to end of October (but often earlier and later). Many visitors report back that this is the place for the the very best Cornish Cream Tea!

Life’s a Beach sits pretty on the picturesque Summerleaze Beach in Bude. The Brendon Arms serves traditional pub food with an emphasis on homemade dishes and using local and seasonal produce when available. We also serve fresh fish, vegetarian dishes and gluten free options. Food is served from 12pm - 2pm & 6pm - 9pm everyday, but times may vary during the holidays. Dogs are very welcome in the bar and beer garden.
Cornish Coasts Cafe and Farmshop is a licensed cafe specialising in home made locally sourced produce and also selling a wide range of locally made gifts from their farm shop. You won;t find a better selection anywhere else.
With delicious cocktails and views over the beautiful Summerleaze Beach, there’s usually a buzzing atmosphere in the bar and terrace. Add great bar food and an extensive range of wines, champagnes, beers and spirits, and it’s easy to see why our bar is popular with both guests and non-residents.
If you haven’t visited before, our licensed café is open daily all year round and offers an excellent choice of freshly cooked, locally sourced food. We cook delicious breakfasts and offer a mouthwatering choice of lunches and main meals. You’ll also find a magnificent selection of locally sourced foods and gifts in our farmshop.
Here we serve a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. We particularly recommend the two local real ales. Meals are served every lunchtime and evening. To the front of the Coachman’s Bar there’s a raised Beer Terrace with lovely views over the Bude Canal, the Inner Harbour area and across to Bude town centre.

Docton Mill Gardens and Tea-Rooms is a family run business owned by Lana and John Borrett who have been at Docton for 15 years and have expanded the gardens to increase the variety of planting and enjoyment for visitors.
