Beau Nidol Glass Workshop

We run a couple of different workshops, come and have fun whilst making something beautiful.
Fused glass workshops last approximetly 2 hours and costs start from £45, during this time you could make such item as a plaque, suncatchers, jewellery or a design of your choice. There is a limit to the amount of glass included in the workshop fee but if you wish to make a larger piece you can simply purchase more glass. We can mount your piece on driftwood for a small fee, other options also available. The glass has to go in a kiln overnight and if there is cold work needed (holes, mounted on driftwood) not ready to collect until 48 hours after workshop (postage available, costs vary depending on size). Fused glass is suitable for ages 12+
Tiffany glass is a form of glass work invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany, it is also known as copper foil glass. The technique involves wrapping the edge of the glass in copper foil which then allows it to be soldered together to create a design.
In our Tiffany glass workshops you will learn glass cutting, how to copper foil and how to solder the piece together. We have a few small panel designs for you to choose from. Tiffany glass workshops costs £45.00 per person for 2 to 3 hours and are suitable for ages 14+ (booking of minimum of 2 people preferred).
Our workshops generally run everyday except for Thursdays and Sundays, they are suitable from the age of 12. We have changed our workshop which now comfortably takes 2 people for a session however we can fit 3. Bookings can be made through email, phone or in the workshop.
You do not need to bring anything with you. For our fused glass shop you can make your own design so feel free to bring your ideas/designs with you. We do not have running water in the workshop so you may wish to bring a drink with you although available to purchase from the cafe next door
Included in the £45 workshop fee is tuition, set amount of glass and firing costs. It also includes one standard wall fixing/mount. Additional glass and fixings can be purchased on the day.
