Bude Choral Society present a Baroque Concert with Orchestra

An evening of joyous Baroque Choral music beckons, at Bude Methodist Church, Saturday 30th November at 7pm. Bude Choral Society will be performing with the ‘Divertimento’ orchestra and a host of other professional musicians. John Hobbs will be conducting the orchestral ensemble ‘Divertimento’, the choir, organist Stephen Tyrell and soloists Katie Wright (S), Charlotte Badham (Mz. S.), Matthew Jeffrey (T) and Julian Rippon (B) through a rich programme comprising two Bach Cantatas (65 & 147), Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Handel’s Coronation Anthem ‘Let thy hand be strengthened’. The concert promises to be gorgeous celebration of Baroque music.
