DESCRIPTION:The Wurzels have paved the way for Scrumpy n’ Western – a genre packed full of double entendre\, mainstream parody and a comical folk style. The perfect accompaniment to cider drinking. \nPerforming a career spanning set consisting of all the hits\, stories and jokes from a career lasting more than 50 years\, The Wurzels continue to play over 100 sell-out shows and festivals every year. \nTheir quintessentially West Country cover of Kaiser Chiefs’ ‘Ruby’ has been a massive show favourite of late\, as well as their hip hop version of the ubiquitous hit ‘Combine Harvester’. \nThe Wurzels are regularly asked how long will they keep going. The band always respond that they intend to keep going whilst they enjoy performing – and that suits the rest of us just fine! \nSupport band: Efford5 are Nixon Hamilton:Guitars/Vocals\, Ian Cox:Bass Guitar\, Jon Stamp:Drums\, Paul Roberts:Vocals/Percussion\nOpen air pop and rock classics from this classy local band. \nSupport band Absent Minds are a young band from North Devon guranteed to get you dancing with their covers and originals. \nBring seating/blankets but don’t forget your dancing shoes…\nBar by The Outside Inn.\nSerendip Sri Lankan Street Food on site throughout the event.  Other caterers tbc.\nParking\, toilets\, camping.  Book early! \nAdult: £30 (£27.50 before 1st March) / Under 18: £20 / On the gate:  £35 | Gates open 12-noon | Performance 6pm\nCamping:  £10 per pitch \nTickets with NO booking fee available from Bude Tourist Information Centre
