Yoga with Vika
Whether you are visiting Bude or live here, you have a great opportunity to try yoga or keep up your practice. I teach a dynamic slow form of yoga, which helps students focus on breath, movement and healthy alignment. All levels and abilities are welcome in my classes. Discover how yoga practice can benefit you!
I first discovered yoga in 2010 when I attended lunchtime office yoga classes. I loved the sense of calm and wellbeing I experienced at the end of each class. Over the years my yoga practice became more regular, and to explore yoga in more depth I completed the 6-months British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course.
The course further fired my interest in yoga and I followed it with the 2-year Triyoga London teacher training diploma (390 hours). I was very fortunate to study with Anna Ashby and Joey Miles. I am aBritish Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance Professionals registered teacher.
I love being able to share with others what I have learned. It is truly rewarding to introduce new people to yoga or to see people’s practice evolve over time. I also remain a yoga student, continuing with my personal practice, and constantly look for ways to make my classes tailored to the needs of and relevant to as many people as possible.
I continue to take part in various workshops and courses to further develop my knowledge, including ‘Chair yoga’ with Mary Mackie, ‘Making practice inclusive’ with Dana Falsetti, and ‘Congruence – where intention and outcome meet’ with Alex Crow.
I teach hatha yoga classes in Bude, North Cornwall, and the surrounding areas.
