Morwenstow is quaint, peaceful and pretty as a picture.  What this historic Cornish village lacks in size it more than makes up for in curiosity value. Some cracking walks and stunning views wow summer visitors, as well as heritage attractions such as the old church, with its unique pillars and Norman carvings. Meanwhile, history buff’s couldn’t find a more intriguing character than the eccentric priest, poet and opium smoker Reverend Robert Hawker.
