Bude Croquet Club
Bude Croquet Club
Bude Croquet Club is a small, friendly and enthusiastic group playing croquet on the stunning North Cornwall coast.
They play Golf croquet, which is easy to learn and great fun to be involved in. The lawns overlook the beautiful Bude Downs close to the beach.
Croquet relies on strategy not strength. Men and women play as equals and because of a simple handicapping system it is possible for people of any age or ability to play together. It is the perfect game for improving hand-eye coordination and tactical thinking, getting some light exercise and breathing our fresh sea air.
Croquet isn’t really about Pimms on the lawn and cream teas, its a game for everyone and can be as competitive or relaxed as you want.
Everyone is welcome, from experienced competition players to complete beginners.
