Written Directions:

Starting from Millook, cross the road-bridge and ascend uphill toward Crackington Haven.  Before the sharp right-hand bend, turn left through the gate to join the footpath along the valley track leading to The Den.

After crossing the footbridge, veer right and follow the path alongside the river.  Upon reaching the end of the meadow, take the left-hand fork towards Trengayor.  Cross the bridge and continue up the grassy path beside the cottage, then turn right into the woods after the meadow.

Upon crossing the footbridge, turn left into Tamp’s and Landy Woods.  Follow the stream, crossing a tributary and then the main riverbed at the sharp double bend to climb the steps to the waymarker.

Continue uphill on the ancient track, with the stream to your right, and pass through the gate at the top.  At Trengayor, turn right along the track between the houses.

Once on the road, turn right past Old Dizzard.  Just before Dizzard Farm, turn left through the gate and cross the yard to the gap by the barn.  Follow the lane, dropping through fields to the stream.  After crossing it, continue uphill through the trees and fields to join the South West Coast Path.

Turn right on the coast path and follow it over the hill above Dizzard Point, descending around Bynorth Cliff and heading into the trees to follow the stream inland around the foot of the hill.

At the junction, continue ahead along the coast path as it climbs gently above the valley to Cancleave.  From Cancleave, proceed ahead along the Coast Path around the edge of fields, above the rocky coastline, back to the road above Millook.

Turn left and walk downhill back to the bridge at the start of the walk.
