Clovelly is a beautiful, picturesque fishing village, steeped in maritime atmosphere and history. Once owned by the Queen of England. Famous for its cobbled steps and unique location.

Originally the estate was owned by William the Conqueror, King of England, gifted to his wife and then had many royal associations until 1242 when first acquired by the Giffard family. Until the middle of the 19th century Clovelly was unknown to the outside world.

There is so much to enjoy at Clovelly, The Court Gardens, the Quay and the donkeys which are firm favourite. Enjoy coastal walks, local sourced food at the Red Lion Pub, shopping, craft workshops and the many events that are hosted in the Village throughout the year.
