Expression of Interest Opportunity – Summerleaze Lower Terrace Store 

Expressions of Interest are invited from community groups, charities, social enterprises, businesses and organisations interested in using the store room space located on the Lower Terrace at Summerleaze Beach, Bude.

The opportunity is intended to encourage positive, sustainable and community-minded use of the space that contributes to the beach environment, visitor experience and wider Bude community. A range of potential uses will be considered, including community initiatives, environmental or educational projects, creative uses and other compatible activities.

Interested parties are invited to outline their proposed use of the space, anticipated community benefits, operational approach and any financial contribution or rental arrangement that would be affordable and sustainable for their proposal.

This Expression of Interest process is intended to identify suitable and deliverable proposals and may lead to further discussions, shortlisting and formal licence or lease arrangements.

Submissions from collaborative partnerships and innovative proposals are encouraged.

Any proposed use must be sympathetic to the beach environment and neighbouring beach hut users.  The space may not be used for general commercial retail purposes.
