The open plan layout lends itself perfectly to family life, with the kitchen flowing into the dining and sitting area. Here you can rustle up a big post-animal-feeding breakfast while chatting to the kids.

The high raftered ceilings, with mellow exposed beams, and ample windows mean it gets plenty of daylight. Grab a good book and snuggle up on the sofa or plan the day’s events.

There are two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room, and one with two single beds and an en-suite family bathroom.

The lack of stairs make this barn great if you’ve got little ones at the let’s-go-climbing stage or for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

Please note, due to the internal layout of this cottage, in the event of a fire, guests must be physically capable of exiting the building via a ground floor window should the primary escape route be blocked or impassable.
