Seeing Red – Art Exhibition

🎨 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞 – 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞⭐

We’re excited to present The Maze Art Collective, made up from artists: Liz Porter, Sue Binding, Hannah Jenkinson, Anne-Marie Furse and Linda Lettice. Their stunning exhibition: ‘𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐝’ runs from 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐜𝐭 – 𝟔 𝐍𝐨𝐯 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. Best of all? It’s 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, every day from 𝟏𝟎𝐚𝐦!

𝐀𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 ‘𝐫𝐞𝐝’.

A primary colour, metaphor, signal, emotion—red surrounds us in nature, design, and communication. It shifts from danger to desire, stop signs to product branding. Meanings vary across cultures, religions, and contexts: a red dress or a white one, a feature wall or magnolia, seeing red or giving the green light. This exhibition investigates red’s power, presence, and contradictions.
