Written Directions:
- Exit the car park towards the sea and turn right along the lane, passing the Coombe Barton Inn. Walk uphill along the lane for approximately 800 meters to the first road junction.
- Turn sharp left up a track that climbs steeply between hedges. At the T-junction, turn left.
- Continue along the lane towards St. Gennys, with the charming church soon coming into view as you reach a road junction.
- Proceed straight ahead and visit the church.
- From the church, turn left and walk past the small parking area on the left. Take the narrow lane immediately after on your left, leading to St. Gennys House. Ttake the footpath on the left through a kissing gate.
- Follow this path down across a footbridge, then climb up to join the South West Coast Path.
- Turn left along the Coast Path, soon reaching Castle Point.
- Descend and cross a stream before zigzagging up to gain the high ground once more.
- Follow the South West Coast Path to Pencannow Point, where it’s worth taking a detour along the spur path to enjoy the view.
- From Pencannow Point, the Coast Path descends back down to Crackington Haven.
- Upon reaching the road, turn right, and you’ll soon arrive back at the start point.
