Guests must book online for via the Tourist Information Centre / VisitBude and pay a small deposit. The full balance will be collected upon arrival during our site patrols. We ask that you print and display the booking confirmation on your dashboard (please obscure any personal details).

Site was fine for a few nights stay.  Very pleasant staff.  Very easy going.  Lets us stay on site until mid afternoon before we left for home.  Ideal site if you are visiting Bude for the Jazz Festival.

Geoff Day

Lovely to be met on arrival, especially after being delayed on our journey. Friendly people and a great location.

Millard

Cheaper (and much easier) to pay for camping here than it is to park at the beach!  We booked a week and used the space in the daytime only!  Next year we will use it as a campsite and cope without the electric hook up!

Sampson

A lovely family friendly place to camp – we enjoyed our 1st time there , we went again the following weekend – such good value.

Flanagan

Good location to walk into Bude. Have stayed here twice so far & both times we have enjoyed our stay & will hopefully be returning in the future.

Sanders

This site offers fantastic value in the area. The facilities are very basic… you are basically using the football club showers and WC with no hot water to wash pots & pans, but balanced against the price per night, we’d definitely stay again.

Joel

We’ve stayed twice and enjoyed the quiet very much. Close enough to town. The only thing we would’ve like was hot water in outside sink to wash dishes.

Johnson

fantastic idea using the football ground facilities, we were in a motor home which meant we could park up, leave the van on site and walk in to town , it also meant we shopped locally too. Great to know the money went back into the football club, Ian was very friendly and helpful too.

English

I love this site for it’s ease of access. the informality and the ability to walk into town and leave the camper behind. I wouldn’t want it to become too commercialised but I suppose in an ideal world it would be good if the facilities were a bit more ‘upmarket’ but of course this costs money and I guess there is sadly always the problem of vandalism. A friendly site with friendly staff – long may it continue in lovely Bude. I will be back!

Clifton

Loved it. Very relaxed.

Taffs

Great quiet spot. Lovely hot shower. We will be back.

Dessypris

Fantastic campsite – quiet, flat, close to town/beach (walking distance), friendly campers. We’ve already booked to come back.

Edwards

Great location, and kept very tidy. Also enjoyed the football game being played one evening. The only thing that needs looking at, is the temperature of the showers. They were really too hot and there was no temperature control . It could also do with a hot water tap at the outside sinks, for washing up. Definitely would book again.

Webb

Brilliant site, perfect location, we’d definitely use again :)

Whittle

Great location , convenient for town , facilities could have been better with clearer signage . Would have been good to know that football training would take place.

Clare

Great value for money. Very convenient for beach and town. The only thing I would have liked was hot water in the (outside) sinks

Forster

Best bits are that its so close to the town centre and beaches and a reasonably quite site however the facilities are basic and could be improved. Also £10 per head per night is a lot, I paid it because I knew it was going towards a good cause.

Passberger

Stayed for a week 25/7 -1/8. Site wasn’t too busy. It was very quiet by 10-11pm. There are two showers rooms Home & Away (it is a football club after all!) One has 4 communal showers the other has 3. You can lock the door so you can use it on your own or as a family, water is nice and hot. The toilets are rustic and when we arrived they were unisex but then a sign appeared on the doors for male & female. They are better as unisex as then there aren’t any queues for the ladies. Toilet roll, paper towels and soap appear to be provided but are used up quickly so take your own. There are two washing up sinks both only have cold water. The site is flat where you come in but becomes a slight as you go around. Spencer from the club comes round and checks on everyone and collects the payment, nice chap. It’s about 15 mins walk to Summerleaze beach, 8 mins to town. Morrison’s & Lidl closest supermarkets on foot, but there’s also a co-op local and Sainsbury’s in the town. Enjoyed our stay and will come back but if you are expecting 5* then this isn’t for you but if you just want a hot shower, a loo and your choice of pitch then it’s perfect. The only thing I’d like to see is some recycling bins.

Gibbons

We enjoyed our two night stay at Broadclose. Although the facilities are basic, it suited all our needs as we wanted to be within a short walk into town and to Summerleaze beach. We had the added benefit of watching the FA cup final match as the club house was open for the event. We loved the fact that as the campsite is run by volunteers all the proceeds go into supporting Bude Football Club.

Pantazis

Great spot, with a 5 minute walk into town. Facilities basic but still great value. Will try and get down again this summer.

Whelan

Great weekend away, good facilities for camping and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Auto

Great place to stay, close to the town and beach.

Owers

Camp position great. Staff lovely but toilets were a bit distressing!

Clements

Unfortunately v disappointing, we stayed one night instead of 2 due to the experience. There was only one sink unit that was there to cover handwashing and washing up. This was unacceptable, at times meaning a 15 minute wait to wash hands after using the wc! It certainly did not feel like a “covid secure” environment

Connor

Cheap and cheerful, nice and friendly! Plenty of space between campers

Rhodes

The site was lovely very friendly and quite just needs some rules in place. The toilet were not very good. One toilet for so many people was just not enough. I would definitely go back we had a great time . The price was great too

Anon

The toilets and showers were very poor, and unavailable when teams are playing football. Also single sex large groups allowed which could be noisy at times.

Long

Great location.  Nice field for motorhome.  Good stop over point if touring Cornwall or to stay longer for peanuts… Field next door had tents looked good.  Showers and Toilet by football little clubhouse

Rackley

This is a great campsite if you are not too fussy and ok to go basic. It has hot showers in the away teams block, a station to wash your dishes and a out door loo, what more do you need.  The campsite manager collects payment and leaves you to get on with it which is just how we like it. There is plenty of space and it is a stones throw away from town centre. Walking distance to beach about 10mins. Will definitely be returning next summer.
