The Crooklets Green Beach Huts are in an elevated position above the Crooklets Central area, above and behind the huts is the large grassy area known as Summerleaze Downs and Bude Cricket Club. In front of the huts are superb views of the beach and sea. There is a tarmac path that runs infront of the huts and for safety, there is a wooden railing in front of the path. Each colourful hut has a window, window blind and a fold-out table. There is sufficient space for two deckchairs inside the hut when the table is folded away.
These small beach huts are ideal to use as a base, store belongings, shelter from the breeze and to prepare lunch. They are not suitable for overnight use, and to ensure all hut users are able to enjoy their time on the beach, we ask that large families/groups book multiple huts.
The Summerleaze Beach Office (on Summerleaze Beach) stocks a large range of reasonably priced beach goods, games and toys along with windbreaks and beach chairs.
Crooklets Beach is one of few beaches to have been awarded Keep Britain Tidy’s Blue Flag Award, for the coastal environment, water quality, safety and access for all: the Blue Flag represents a serious and profound commitment to both people and the environment. There is a season dog ban in place on Crooklets beach between Easter and the end of September. There is plenty of dog walking space
