Seasonal hire huts are initially offered to repeat bookers as a priority, giving them the first opportunity to repeat their hire. Any remaining huts not renewed by previous users will then be made available to the general public from 1st May each year.
Seasonal hire rates are approximately £25 per week for small huts, £33 for medium huts, and £47 for large huts. These rates offer a more cost-effective option compared to daily hire prices.
6-Month Period (1st October to 31st March)
- Small Huts: £600
- Medium Huts: £800
- Large Huts: £1117
9-Month Period (1st October to 30th June)
- Small Huts: £900
- Medium Huts: £1200
- Large Huts: £1675
If you would like to hire a hut for a six or nine month period, please complete the form below.
A £200 deposit is required and will be held until the end of the lease agreement. It may be used to cover any necessary repairs or maintenance.
The seasonal beach hut hire agreement is for a fixed period only with a maximum length of nine months.
The lease agreement can be made in either a single name or jointly between two individuals, provided they are legally married or in a civil partnership. Please note that beach huts are not transferable, cannot be sublet, and cannot be inherited by family members.
Please be reminded that you’ll need to confirm your address and ID (utility bill/Local Authority letter and passport/driving licence), payment must be made in full via a bank transfer and the lease agreement must be signed and witnessed before the beach hut can be hired. It is essential that the lease is read carefully, as it outlines expectations regarding the upkeep and maintenance of the hut.
