75% of the Beach Huts at Summerleaze and 85% of the huts at Crooklets are set-aside for annual tenancies. The annual tenancy runs from April 1st to March 31st.
- Small huts are £1185 per year
- Medium huts are £1623 per year
- Large huts are £2234 per year
A £200 deposit is required and will be held until the end of the lease agreement. It may be used to cover any necessary repairs or maintenance.
The annual beach hut hire agreement is for a fixed period only with a maximum length of 12-months. . There is no guarantee that the hire will be renewed once the agreement expires, and any subsequent offer for renewal will be at the discretion of the management.
The lease agreement can be made in either a single name or jointly between two individuals, provided they are legally married or in a civil partnership. Please note that beach huts are not transferable, cannot be sublet, and cannot be inherited by family members.
If you’re invited to renew the agreement, we’ll send you a renewal pack soon after Christmas. If you wish to accept the invitation, you have until 28th March to complete a new agreement, make payment and call into the TIC (in person) with your ID.
Please be reminded that a full lease agreement must be signed and witnessed before the beach hut can be hired. It is essential that the lease is read carefully, as it outlines expectations regarding the upkeep and maintenance of the hut.
