Discover the charm of Fernworthy, a beautifully presented one-bedroom self-contained holiday cottage annex, located just a short stroll from the picturesque Bude Canal and a mere ten-minute walk to the town center and beach. With its own entrance and off-road parking, Fernworthy offers a delightful retreat for couples or small families.

The open-plan kitchen/living space is thoughtfully designed, and a mini hamper with essentials ensures a warm welcome. The flexibility of your stay is enhanced by a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area. The spacious bathroom features a bath and shower, complete with complimentary toiletries and towels for your convenience.

Step outside onto the lovely patio area and expansive outdoor space, perfect for children to play or adults to enjoy warm evenings. A box of toys is provided to add to the family-friendly atmosphere. Free WiFi is available to keep you connected during your stay.

For families with young ones, babysitting services are available through a qualified sitter at an additional cost. Fernworthy accommodates two adults or a family with one child or teenager, and regrettably, no pets are allowed.

Snuggle up in Shepherds, a blissfully relaxing bolthole. Named after the family who farmed at West Woolley for generations, this newly built cottage is set apart from the main courtyard, giving it a lovely secluded feel.

As soon as you step though the front door you’ll feel yourself start to unwind. With its sunny interior, wooden floors and views over the rolling fields, there’s a real sense of peace. Sink into the big corner sofa with a glass of wine or enjoy a soak in the bath. The sleek kitchen has everything you need to conjure up a feast – just the thing after a long country walk.

Perfect for couples, Shepherds has a tranquil bedroom with a huge and hugely comfortable super-king bed. It’s spacious yet cosy too, and there’s room for a cot in the bedroom (suitable for infants under 2 years old). The combination of a heat pump, solar thermal and extra insulation means you can be snug and smug – knowing it’s eco-friendly.

Plus, because it’s all on one level it’s great for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or for babies who enjoy crawling or furniture-cruising!

There’s a seating area just outside the cottage, which is a real suntrap and a great spot to sit with cup of coffee serenaded by the birds.

Once home to the farm’s Shire horses, these converted old stables are simply stunning. The huge front door opens straight into the main living area, which is full height from the flagstone floor to the raftered ceiling. It’s super-toasty too – great when you get back from a day on the beach.

Downstairs, there’s a kitchen with a circular pine dining table, and a sitting area where colour-washed walls, a squashy sofa and antique pine furniture add to the traditional feel. Leading off the central space is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom plus family bathroom.

Two wooden staircases lead to mezzanine floors either side, one to a cosy sitting room under the eaves, the other to an open-plan twin bedroom with the beds tucked under the rafters.

Open the back door, and you step out to a lovely lawned garden with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco suppers on sunlit evenings.

Swallow, like all our cottages, has undergone significant renovations in recent years, with the most recent addition being a new bath with shower upstairs.

Discover the charm of Canal Cottage, a delightful two-bedroom holiday retreat situated just a few meters from the picturesque Bude Canal. Recently modernised and tastefully decorated, this centrally located cottage is designed to accommodate up to four guests comfortably.

Convenience is key, with parking space available for one car by the front door, and unrestricted parking on Vicarage Road for additional vehicles. The cottage is a mere stroll from the beaches and shops, and conveniently positioned across the road from two of Bude’s renowned pubs, The Falcon Hotel and The Brendon Arms, both serving excellent meals throughout the year.

Upon entering from the front door, a spacious hall leads to the kitchen, lounge, and the staircase to the first floor.

No matter your age, you’ll love the heated indoor pool at Woodlands. Whether you’re swimming laps or playing with the kids, the fun is limitless. The pool is maintained at a warm 30 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swim year-round.

The Games Room is a favourite among our guests, offering a great opportunity for all ages to relax and enjoy a wide range of activities. We have soft play, table tennis, foosball, giant Connect Four, darts, and pool.

For outdoor play, we provide a playing field with a stunning view, swings, a climbing frame, and a slide. The field also has two football goals, perfect for an impromptu kick-around with the kids.

The woodlands are simply magical, especially in April and May when the ground is carpeted with bluebells. Dogs are welcome to roam, but don’t forget your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy by the stream in winter.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat.

Set away from the main courtyard and adjoining the Farmhouse, Anna’s Cottage is a delight. Downstairs it’s all warm wooden floors, exposed stone walls and rustic beams (the beams are 6’3” at their lowest, so if you’re tall take care!).

The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is flooded with light, thanks to two full-height windows. And there are squashy leather sofas, great for flopping on after a hard day riding the waves or scoffing a Cornish cream tea.

Head upstairs. via the spiral staircase, to find the main bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room plus a twin bedroom, next to a family bathroom. From both rooms, you’ve glorious views over open farmland to the sea as well as afternoon sun. Sleep in the main bedroom, and you also get the morning sun.

And if you can’t get enough of the outdoors, there’s a private garden where you can relax, play or enjoy leisurely meals.

Trewhel-ju is ideal for a couple but can accommodate a couple and two children; there is also room for a cot. The accommodation is fully accessible and there is a wet room.

The garden, exclusively for guests’ use, is a sunny retreat perfect for relaxation and enjoyment, offering a peaceful escape.

Trewhel-ju features under-floor heating and a multi-fuel stove, ensuring a cozy ambiance and making it a suitable retreat year-round.
