This single-storey accommodation is designed for convenience and accessibility, featuring its own private porch—a handy space for storing a pushchair or wheelchair.

Layout:

• Single-storey accommodation with an entrance porch leading to an internal door opening directly into the open-plan living room area. The room features a wall-mounted TV, comfy sofas, soft furnishings, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen.
• Doors at each end lead to a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a flat-screen TV at one end, and the twin bedroom with blackout blinds at the other. The twin beds can be converted into a super-king for a couple by prior arrangement. The bedrooms are adjacent to the recently refurbished bathroom with an over-bath raindrop shower.

Access statement:

• Hayloft Cottage has 2 steps into the porch, which offers useful storage space for a pushchair or wheelchair. Ramp access can be provided for additional convenience.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat.

Located in the peaceful hamlet of Woolley, just nine miles north of Bude, we’re easy to get to and a great base for exploring not only Bude but wider Cornwall and North Devon as well.

Choose between five fully equipped, family friendly barn conversions sleeping 4-6 people (plus cots) and a newer built cottage for two. Mill House, Stables, Grain Store and Parlour, with their exposed rafters, stone walls and wobbly roof lines, are all located around the main courtyard at the heart of the farm while Anna’s Cottage offers greater privacy annexed to the main farmhouse. Shepherds is a more modern, eco-friendly design a short distance from the courtyard providing the perfect hideaway for couples.

Everyone’s welcome to help with morning animal feeding – children especially enjoy feeding the pigs and chickens, herding the ducks and playing with our pygmy goats. And if they’ve still got energy to burn, head to our play barn where we have a selection of ride-on toys, ball games, table tennis, basketball and table football. A stay at Adventure Bude is perfect for families and friends to spend time together in a truly wonderful venue, based right in the heart of Bude not more than 200m away from the beach!  The North Cornish coast is one of the most picturesque parts of the country and a stay in Bude is guaranteed to help you relax and unwind!

This is only available for a limited time during school summer holidays, during term time it is used by visiting schools.

You can choose between using the venue as a base for your holiday with room-only but there is a bed and breakfast option and half board if you want an evening meal.

All of the bedrooms have multiple single beds and a private ensuite bathroom.

Although the rooms can accommodate upto 10 people, they can be booked for any number of occupants so if you are booking as a single person you still have a room to yourself and a private bathroom for your own use.

All bed linen is provided but you will need to supply your own towels and toiletries.

Throughout your stay, you’ll have free town centre parking, WiFi in the bar and lounge and access to the bar and gloriously positioned balcony area to help you unwind and finish your day watching the sunset over the Atlantic.

Dogs are allowed but a surcharge applies.

Tucked away at the end of a private lane, the cottage is exceptionally quiet, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle. Its character is accentuated by beamed ceilings, deep-set windows, and an inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove.

Lilac Cottage also boasts its own private garden to the side of the property, featuring a picnic table, a barbecue for the summer months, and a storage shed for bikes, buggies, surfboards, and more.

The calm tones of the interior draw inspiration from the beauty of the surrounding countryside, creating a soothing atmosphere. There’s much to explore right at your doorstep, with superb on-site facilities such as the indoor heated swimming pool, games room, and spa treatments. Additionally, miles of sandy beaches are just a short drive away, making Lilac Cottage the ideal escape.
