The Bush Inn is a 13th Century free house in the beautiful parish of Morwenstow. Rich in character, this hidden gem is one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall, with a history of hospitality dating back to around 950AD. Less than a mile away from the North Cornish coast, the Bush Inn is a perfect stopover for those hiking the South West Coast Path. This one-of-a-kind pub has a quirky bar area oozing charm, contrasting the bright, modern restaurant offering stunning views of the sea.

Our Ethos
Being a rural pub in this beautiful part of the world, we strive to source as many local ingredients from the land around us. We pride ourselves in using quality local produce wherever possible with all of our eggs, dairy, poultry, beef, pork, lamb and potatoes coming from local suppliers in North Cornwall, some of which are farmers from here in Morwenstow. We even have our own herd of beef cattle situated just half a mile down the coastline.

TJ’s Bar – premium beers, craft favourites, and refined cocktails, served in a light, stylish space with a warm, family-friendly welcome. Live music on Thursdays and DJ’s at TJ’s on some Sundays.  Keep an eye out for our upcoming events.

With its commanding position overlooking Bude’s inner harbour and mere stones throw from the Bude’s distinctive sea-lock and Summerleaze beach, it holds a coveted spot in the town. Proudly proclaiming to offer ‘The Warmest Welcome in the West,’ the Brendon Arms invites guests to experience hospitality at its finest.

Please be aware that while well-behaved dogs are welcome in the garden and the bar area, they are not permitted in the restaurant. However, the dog-friendly bar also serves the full menu. Located in the historic Devon fishing village of Clovelly, Clovelly Fish is a traditional fishmonger with a deep connection to the sea. Run by local fishermen, they catch and sell an array of fresh fish and shellfish straight from the waters around Clovelly itself.

From hand-lined mackerel and sustainably caught crab and lobster, to seasonal catches like pollock and sea bass, Clovelly Fish is all about quality, traceability, and keeping the local fishing heritage alive. Everything they sell is either landed by their own boats or sourced from trusted nearby fishers.
