From the sitting room, which overlooks the main courtyard, you head through to the farmhouse kitchen with a large pine table – great for family gatherings.

You’ve even got your own private courtyard garden with seating and room for a BBQ. It’s the perfect spot on summer evenings for a glass of wine or a full-on grill-up.

Welcome to Wagtail Barn, our two-bedroom barn offering a cozy and well-equipped retreat for your Cornwall getaway. The accommodation includes one double bedroom with the option of a king-size or twin beds, and a twin bedroom. Cots for infants are available upon request, ensuring a family-friendly environment. The shower room and toilet are conveniently located downstairs.

Wagtail Barn’s fully equipped kitchen features a large pine table, hob, oven, microwave, and a full-size dishwasher. The external kitchen door opens to a private enclosed garden with a brick barbecue, providing the perfect setting to enjoy stunning views across the adjoining farmland.

For added convenience, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate room for the use of all our guests.

We’d love to welcome you to stay in one of our sympathetically converted barns, set around the historic farmyard.

Although no longer a working farm, we are surrounded by woodland and pasture, with far reaching rural views and yet less than five minutes’ drive to the beach.

The cottages are self-contained and equipped to the highest standard to help make your stay feel like a real home from home.

All bedding, linen and towels are provided, which will be changed weekly if required during longer stays. We have ample secure free parking on site.

Carthouse offers an intimate retreat for two, while Wagtail and Swallow are ideal for couples or families with children, sleeping up to four comfortably with the option of a travel cot for infants.

Wagtail boasts a generous double bedroom with the flexibility of king-size or twin beds, alongside a second double bedroom, perfect for children or additional guests. Similarly, Swallow features a spacious double bedroom with versatile bedding options, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for all.

The Cabin – Romantic Hideaway by the Sea

Tucked away on our working farm at Northcott, The Cabin is a cosy and stylish retreat designed just for couples. With its own private garden, charming summer house, and outdoor hot tub, it’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a romantic getaway.

Bring your dog along and make the most of the stunning countryside and coastline right on your doorstep. From peaceful farmland strolls to dramatic cliff-top walks and golden beaches, you’ll never be short of places to explore. The dog-friendly Northcott Mouth beach and the famous South West Coast Path are just a 15–20 minute walk away, and the welcoming local pub, The Preston Gate, is just as close.

Back at the farm, you’ll also meet some of our friendly animals, including cows, pigs, ponies Bubbles and Tiny Tim, and Rosie the donkey.

Guests staying at The Cabin are also welcome to use the excellent facilities at Court Farm, Marhamchurch (around 10–15 minutes by car), including the indoor heated pool and spa treatments (please note pool access during peak times is between 12–3pm).

A stone’s throw from the golden sands and surf at Crooklets Beach, a short stroll past the golf course to the small town of Bude and its restaurants, local shops, bars and cafes.

All of our apartments have a lounge/diner with Smart TV, comfy seating and amazing views across the golf course or over the sea. The kitchens are well-equipped with electric oven, two zone induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Leading off the lounge area is the king-size bedroom with and en-suite shower room and WC.

Relax on the shared outside terrace to the front of the property where you can watch the world go by or enjoy a meal in the restaurant within this apartment block.

There is a shared downstairs shower, perfect to use when coming in from the beach and for the furry friends there is a dog bath/shower and grooming area.

Dogs are charged at £35 each per stay.

Please note that while Parlour may be suitable for those with limited mobility, there are two steps into the porch, which provides storage space for buggies.

For added convenience, one well-behaved dog is welcome for a small additional charge of £20. Owners must bring their own dog basket or cage. It’s important to note that Parlour opens onto a shared child-friendly courtyard and does not have its own garden. Once a traditional cob barn, Puffin has been beautifully renovated while retaining its character—its walls are over two feet thick! From the dining area, sliding glass doors lead to a private south-facing patio with table, seating, and a gas BBQ—an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
