Woodlands Manor Farm offers two luxurious glamping yurt options for guests: Budhyn (Cornish for “meadow”) and Fenton (Cornish for “spring”).

The yurts have a diameter of 5.8 metres and a central height of 3 metres. Each yurt is equipped with a super king-size (6ft) double bed and two single beds, as well as a high-end Nordpeis Orion stove at the centre. The beds are made up with crisp white linen, and each guest is provided with two pillows, a hand towel, and a fluffy bath sheet. Complimentary broadband Wi-Fi is available, and each yurt features a large picnic table just outside the door.

Each yurt has its own kitchen area, which includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a two-ring induction hob. There is also a folding table and chairs, allowing guests to dine indoors if it’s raining. The kitchen area is equipped with two USB charging points for laptops, tablets, and phones. Each yurt is provided with a Weber BBQ and a covered outdoor area, so the BBQ can be used even in the rain.

In addition to the kitchen facilities, each yurt has its own washing-up area, complete with frying pans, saucepans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and cutlery—essentially, everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals.

Each yurt also has its own shower room with a WC and hand basin. The shower room is kept warm by a large heated towel rail.

Guests staying in our yurts have access to all the facilities offered by Woodlands Manor Farm, including the large heated indoor swimming pool, the games room with soft play area, the outdoor playground, the playing field with 5-a-side football goals, the woodland walk, and the opportunity to help feed the farm animals.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome; please bring their bedding and bowls.

On the ground floor, the cottage unfolds its welcoming spaces. To the left of the entrance, the cosy lounge beckons, adorned with beamed ceilings, slate flooring, and plush sofas—perfect for sinking into after a day of exploration. A wall-mounted TV with a DVD player provides entertainment, while the wood-burner, complete with a complimentary log supply, offers warmth and ambiance on chilly evenings. Next to the lounge lies the dining room, featuring a large country-style table and an ornamental fireplace, creating a charming setting for shared meals and laughter. The compact yet fully equipped kitchen awaits, with a backdoor leading directly to the enclosed private garden and patio area—a tranquil retreat for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the sunshine.

Ascend the staircase to the first floor, where serenity awaits. The spacious master bedroom welcomes you with a king-sized iron bedstead, offering ample space for a cot if needed. At Honeysuckle Cottage, every moment is infused with charm and tranquillity, promising a holiday to remember amidst the beauty of Cornwall.

Set within the peaceful Well Courtyard—once part of the estate’s original stable block—Nightingale Cottage is a welcoming single-level retreat, thoughtfully designed for families.

At the front, the cottage opens onto a small, secluded courtyard, while the rear features a private enclosed garden with hot tub, table, seating, and a gas BBQ—perfect for year-round relaxation. The secure garden makes it especially suitable for families with young children.

Inside, the open-plan layout includes a stylish Shaker-style kitchen and dining area alongside a comfortable lounge with doors opening directly to the garden.

There are three bedrooms: a king-size double, a twin room (with space for a cot if required), and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for children. The fully tiled bathroom offers a bath with power shower and heated towel rail.

Rosehip Cottage is a beautifully restored historic mariner’s cottage on Breakwater Road, offering generous space for families and groups just moments from Summerleaze Beach and the Bude Canal. With sea views, a large garden, wood-burning stoves and direct access to coastal walks, it provides a comfortable and characterful base for exploring North Cornwall.

One of Rosehip Cottage’s standout features is its large enclosed garden, ideal for families and outdoor living. The lawn, patio seating, BBQ and hammock create a relaxed space for al fresco dining and unwinding after coastal walks.

From the garden, you can easily access nearby paths leading to the beach, canal and town, making it simple to enjoy Bude without needing to drive.

Situated on Breakwater Road, the cottage enjoys an exceptional position close to both Summerleaze Beach and the Bude Canal. Guests can walk to the beach in minutes, enjoy canal-side strolls, or explore the town’s shops, cafés and restaurants on foot.

The location also provides easy access to the wider North Cornwall coast, making it an ideal base for surfing beaches, cliff walks and day trips to nearby villages and attractions.

Rosehip Cottage sleeps 6-8 and includes:

Woodlands Manor Farm features seven beautiful cottages and two luxury Mongolian yurts. From cozy two-bedroom cottages with log burners to the historic Manor House that accommodates twelve, we have something for everyone. No matter your age, you’ll love the heated indoor pool at Woodlands. Whether you’re swimming laps or playing with the kids, the fun is limitless. The pool is maintained at a warm 30 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swim year-round.

The Games Room is a favourite among our guests, offering a great opportunity for all ages to relax and enjoy a wide range of activities. We have soft play, table tennis, foosball, giant Connect Four, darts, and pool.

For outdoor play, we provide a playing field with a stunning view, swings, a climbing frame, and a slide. The field also has two football goals, perfect for an impromptu kick-around with the kids.

The woodlands are simply magical, especially in April and May when the ground is carpeted with bluebells. Dogs are welcome to roam, but don’t forget your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy by the stream in winter.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat.

Quaint and full of character, Round House was once the Gate Keeper’s Lodge and is thought to be the oldest building on the estate. Detached and set slightly apart from the other cottages, it offers guests both privacy and easy access to the indoor pool and amenities. With its unusual shaped windows, low beams, and centuries-old charm, this is a truly unique place to stay.

The ground floor features an inviting open-plan lounge and dining area with a wood-burning stove, and a beautifully appointed Shaker-style kitchen complete with a sea view from the window. Also downstairs is a luxurious bathroom with corner bath and integral power shower.

Upstairs, reached via a narrow staircase with low beams (mind your head!), there are two bedrooms: a master with king-size bed and glorious views over the valley and out to sea, and a second bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for children. This room can also accommodate a cot, making the cottage perfect for a family of four or five. Out of season, Round House is equally popular as a romantic retreat for two, with its secluded setting and cosy atmosphere.

Outside, the cottage has its own enclosed private garden with seating and a BBQ for your exclusive use.

Elegant and spacious, The West Wing is our largest and most distinguished property, forming part of the historic Manor House. Beautifully appointed throughout, it offers generous accommodation for up to six guests.

A private ground-floor entrance opens into a grand hallway, with a staircase leading to the main accommodation. On the half-landing, you’ll find a twin bedroom, while the first floor houses the principal living spaces. Here, a large open-plan lounge and kitchen overlook the sweeping main lawn, and a separate dining room enjoys a charming sea view.

There are three comfortable bedrooms: a king-size double with en suite bath and shower, and two twin rooms. Two cots can also be accommodated—one in the double and one in a twin room. A second family bathroom provides a bath with shower over.

At the rear of the Manor House, a private outdoor area captures the sun throughout the day and into the evening. With its dining space and gas BBQ, it’s the perfect spot for relaxed meals al fresco.
