No matter your age, you’ll love the heated indoor pool at Woodlands. Whether you’re swimming laps or playing with the kids, the fun is limitless. The pool is maintained at a warm 30 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swim year-round.

The Games Room is a favourite among our guests, offering a great opportunity for all ages to relax and enjoy a wide range of activities. We have soft play, table tennis, foosball, giant Connect Four, darts, and pool.

For outdoor play, we provide a playing field with a stunning view, swings, a climbing frame, and a slide. The field also has two football goals, perfect for an impromptu kick-around with the kids.

The woodlands are simply magical, especially in April and May when the ground is carpeted with bluebells. Dogs are welcome to roam, but don’t forget your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy by the stream in winter.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat.

Welcome to Swallow Barn the largest of our 3 cottages. This inviting two-bedroom barn combines modern comforts with rustic charm. The accommodation features a double bedroom with the option of a king-size or twin beds, and a standard double bedroom. Cots for infants are available upon request, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.

Swallow, like all our cottages, has undergone significant renovations in recent years, with the most recent addition being a new bath with shower upstairs.

Downstairs, a fully equipped kitchen awaits, complete with a full-size dishwasher. The large sitting room is adorned with leather sofas, offering comfortable seating for relaxation. Enjoy entertainment with a Freeview flat screen TV, Bluetooth soundbar, and Blu-Ray DVD player. DAB radios with Bluetooth speakers in each bedroom add a delightful touch.

Swallow is thoughtfully designed for those seeking the beauty of Bude’s winter scenery, featuring a wood burner for which an initial complimentary supply of wood and solid fuel is provided. Inside, each apartment is gas centrally heated and features an open plan lounge/kitchen diner equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, including an electric cooker and microwave. The lounge area boasts a flat-screen colour television, dining table and chairs, and two sofas, with one converting into a sofa bed for added flexibility. There are three bedrooms: a king-size double, a twin room (with space for a cot if needed), and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds—perfect for children. A well-appointed family bathroom includes a bath with shower over.

Outside, a grassy area with table, seating, and gas BBQ is reserved for your exclusive use. Next door, Heron Cottage can be booked alongside Kittiwake, making an excellent combination for larger family groups of up to 12 people.
