It’s a culinary haven for creating delicious meals during your stay.

Beyond the kitchen lies the spacious main room, a fantastic open space for dining, playing board games, and savouring a glass of red wine. This central area is the heart of the house, connecting all rooms seamlessly.

Through the dining area, you’ll discover the snug end featuring a wood burner surrounded by comfortable furnishings – the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. Music enthusiasts will appreciate the stereo system, radio, and record player with an extensive collection of vinyl. Feel free to bring your own favourites!

The master bedroom, boasting a king-size bed, welcomes the morning sun with exceptional views of the valley and coast path. Enjoy your tea or coffee while soaking in the stunning surroundings.

The twin bedroom is a haven for game lovers with its two single beds and an assortment of games and puzzles.

The single bedroom offers a beautiful view of the sloping garden leading down to a trickling stream.

A large family bathroom serves all bedrooms and is easily accessible from the main room. The shower over the bath ensures a refreshing experience.

Step outside and immerse yourself in the delightful Cornish countryside. The large terrace overlooks a rugged valley and the South West Coast Path. Wander down to the stream and Millook beach just minutes away. The terrace, a fantastic sun trap during the day, transforms into the perfect spot for a barbecue using the fire pit as the sun sets. The garden, adorned with vibrant wildflowers, shrubs, and fruit trees, invites you to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of nature. A crazy-paved terrace, accessed through a stable door, becomes the ideal setting for outdoor dining on warm summer days.

With an indoor heated swimming pool, Bramblewood Cottage is a perfect base for your family or small group holiday, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Bramblewood offers a large, secluded side-and rear garden, which backs onto a large meadow, with the play area on the far side.

The cottage has an open-plan lounge and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave, and a smart TV with streaming apps. The fibre wifi has recently been upgraded, so now faster and more robust.

The large enclosed garden has a picnic table and benches in one area and a table and chairs in another for plenty of options to either catch or avoid the sun. There’s also a BBQ, to enjoy the peaceful afternoons and evenings in the secluded garden. You can keep an eye on children in the play area from the garden, giving them a sense of freedom while on holiday. There’s also a bench on the terrace at the front of the house for a morning cuppa in the sunshine. Bramblewood has parking for two cars.

Enjoy unlimited use of the indoor heated swimming pool, open throughout the year.

Children of all ages and dogs over one year old are welcomed, so the whole family can enjoy a break together.

Indoor Heated Swimming Pool
Guests can enjoy our 40ft (12.3m) indoor heated swimming pool, open every day throughout the year from 8am until dusk (closing times vary slightly with the seasons. There are separate changing rooms with hot showers too.

Outdoor Play Area
There’s plenty of outdoor space for children to enjoy. The large meadow is ideal for ball games and running around, and the adventure play area includes swings, a climbing frame, slide, springy animals, a Wendy house and a crawl-through tractor.

High-speed fibre WiFi is available across our three cottages, making it easy to stay connected, stream programmes or catch up on emails if needed.

Optional Food Services
Although all cottages are self-catering, two optional food services are available to pre-book:

• Grocery Delivery: Lansdown Dairy can deliver an initial grocery order before your arrival so your cottage is stocked with essentials when you get there.
• Freshly Cooked Meals: Quality home-cooked meals can also be delivered to your cottage – ideal for your first evening, a special occasion, or if you simply want a night off from cooking.

Our games room has table tennis and a pool table for some relaxed family competition (40p per game).

Laundry Facilities
Shared laundry facilities are available on site, including three large washing machines and three large tumble dryers, available for a small charge.

Bedroom

The Corn Keep’s bedroom features a handcrafted Canadian pine king-size bed, paired with a sumptuous memory foam mattress for deep comfort. Adding to its charm is a striking copper bateau bath with a tin interior — meticulously hand-finished by master craftsmen at the world’s leading copper bath specialists.

The open-plan living and dining area is warmed by underfloor heating throughout, ensuring a cosy retreat year-round. Entertainment is well catered for with a 43” Smart TV, Hi-Fi system, and Blu-Ray/DVD player.

Outside

Step out onto your private balcony to take in sweeping views across the Cornish countryside and out to the sea. Guests also enjoy access to larger shared grounds with a BBQ area.

Woodlands Manor Farm offers two luxurious glamping yurt options for guests: Budhyn (Cornish for “meadow”) and Fenton (Cornish for “spring”).

The yurts have a diameter of 5.8 metres and a central height of 3 metres. Each yurt is equipped with a super king-size (6ft) double bed and two single beds, as well as a high-end Nordpeis Orion stove at the centre. The beds are made up with crisp white linen, and each guest is provided with two pillows, a hand towel, and a fluffy bath sheet. Complimentary broadband Wi-Fi is available, and each yurt features a large picnic table just outside the door.

Each yurt has its own kitchen area, which includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a two-ring induction hob. There is also a folding table and chairs, allowing guests to dine indoors if it’s raining. The kitchen area is equipped with two USB charging points for laptops, tablets, and phones. Each yurt is provided with a Weber BBQ and a covered outdoor area, so the BBQ can be used even in the rain.

In addition to the kitchen facilities, each yurt has its own washing-up area, complete with frying pans, saucepans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and cutlery—essentially, everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals.

Each yurt also has its own shower room with a WC and hand basin. The shower room is kept warm by a large heated towel rail.

Guests staying in our yurts have access to all the facilities offered by Woodlands Manor Farm, including the large heated indoor swimming pool, the games room with soft play area, the outdoor playground, the playing field with 5-a-side football goals, the woodland walk, and the opportunity to help feed the farm animals.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome; please bring their bedding and bowls.

Woodlands Manor is a grand, traditional Grade II listed farmhouse dating back to the 17th century or earlier, retaining many original features such as low lintels, slate floors, and magnificent fireplaces. Guests will delight in the charming blend of old and new.

With six characterful bedrooms, The Manor sleeps 12 plus cots. Each bedroom boasts romantic bedsteads, and children will love discovering the secret spaces, maid’s staircases, and interconnected rooms.

Downstairs, The Manor features three lounges, a dining room, and a large kitchen/conservatory. Comfortable sofas in all sitting rooms provide the perfect spot to enjoy the large wood burner.

Cooks will relish the four-oven Aga in the kitchen/breakfast room, which opens into the conservatory where guests can enjoy the sun even on windy days. A standard range oven complements the Aga, so no need to worry if you’re not familiar with using an Aga.

No matter your age, you’ll love the heated indoor pool at Woodlands. Whether you’re swimming laps or playing with the kids, the fun is limitless. The pool is maintained at a warm 30 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swim year-round.

The Games Room is a favourite among our guests, offering a great opportunity for all ages to relax and enjoy a wide range of activities. We have soft play, table tennis, foosball, giant Connect Four, darts, and pool.

For outdoor play, we provide a playing field with a stunning view, swings, a climbing frame, and a slide. The field also has two football goals, perfect for an impromptu kick-around with the kids.

The woodlands are simply magical, especially in April and May when the ground is carpeted with bluebells. Dogs are welcome to roam, but don’t forget your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy by the stream in winter.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat

The lack of stairs make this barn great if you’ve got little ones at the let’s-go-climbing stage or for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
