Both bedrooms can be arranged as doubles or twins, offering flexibility for families or friends traveling together. A travel cot is available on request. The cottage features Wi-Fi, TV, Bose sound system, log burner, and additional heating for year-round comfort, along with a fully equipped kitchen featuring premium appliances.
Guests have full use of the cottage and its charming garden. Surfboards and bodyboards are available to borrow upon request, perfect for making the most of the seaside location.
Rickstone Cottage, which sleeps five guests, sits adjacent to Middle Cottage—ideal for larger groups wishing to book both together.

Situated on Breakwater Road, the cottage enjoys one of Bude’s most desirable locations, just a short walk from Summerleaze Beach, the sea pool and the scenic Bude Canal is on the doorstep. Aldine Cottage sleeps up to five guests in three bedrooms and offers two bathrooms. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and ideal for year-round stays. Log burners and underfloor heating make it warm and cosy in winter, while the southerly aspect ensures the house is bright and airy during the summer months. There is ample private parking, a large garden and adjoining field, and excellent outdoor space including a barbecue and outdoor kitchen.
Recently refurbished, Aldine Cottage combines traditional cottage character with a contemporary, stylish finish.
Upstairs there is one king-size bedroom and one double bedroom, with a single bedroom downstairs, making the cottage suitable for couples, families, or small groups. A travel cot can be provided on request.
The cottage is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, a Bose sound system, log burners, and underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen features high-quality appliances, including an oven, induction hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, fridge, and freezer. A separate laundry room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, and ironing facilities. Large patio doors open onto a slate terrace with a dedicated BBQ and outdoor kitchen area, complete with sink and slate worktops—ideal for al fresco dining.

Inside, the open-plan living space includes a comfortable lounge area, dining area, and a Shaker-style fitted kitchen with dishwasher. The fully tiled bathroom features a bath with power shower.
There are two well-furnished bedrooms: a king-size double and a twin room, with space for a cot in either. The cottage is fully centrally heated for year-round comfort.

Lilac Cottage also boasts its own private garden to the side of the property, featuring a picnic table, a barbecue for the summer months, and a storage shed for bikes, buggies, surfboards, and more.

As soon as you step though the front door you’ll feel yourself start to unwind. With its sunny interior, wooden floors and views over the rolling fields, there’s a real sense of peace. Sink into the big corner sofa with a glass of wine or enjoy a soak in the bath. The sleek kitchen has everything you need to conjure up a feast – just the thing after a long country walk.
Perfect for couples, Shepherds has a tranquil bedroom with a huge and hugely comfortable super-king bed. It’s spacious yet cosy too, and there’s room for a cot in the bedroom (suitable for infants under 2 years old). The combination of a heat pump, solar thermal and extra insulation means you can be snug and smug – knowing it’s eco-friendly.
Plus, because it’s all on one level it’s great for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or for babies who enjoy crawling or furniture-cruising!
There’s a seating area just outside the cottage, which is a real suntrap and a great spot to sit with cup of coffee serenaded by the birds.
Please note, due to the internal layout of this cottage, in the event of a fire, guests must be physically capable of exiting the building via a ground floor window should the primary escape route be blocked or impassable.
