Parking is available for two cars at the top of the south-facing lawn for your convenience. The owners reside in an adjacent property, offering a warm welcome upon your arrival and assistance with any queries during your stay.

High View House is a cherished family property, boasting almost 75 years of history. Please note that this split-level property has three steps inside the house. As it is situated next to farmland with livestock, pets are regretfully not allowed. Smoking is permitted in the garden but strictly prohibited inside the property. Nestled in a picturesque paddock in the quiet hamlet of Poundstock, just a short drive (10-minutes) south of Bude, our yurts offer a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Each yurt has its own unique character, with Lundy featuring a small balcony and elevated entrance, while Wanson is conveniently situated at ground level.

Inside, you’ll find comfortable sleeping arrangements, with either a king-size bed or a double bed, along with a futon for additional guests or children. We also provide a cot upon request to ensure a restful night’s sleep for all.

Once the stable block and tack room of the main house, Little Sanctuary retains its original character with beamed ceilings and a cobbled entrance. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Woolley, just nine miles north of Bude, we’re easy to get to and a great base for exploring not only Bude but wider Cornwall and North Devon as well.

Choose between five fully equipped, family friendly barn conversions sleeping 4-6 people (plus cots) and a newer built cottage for two. Mill House, Stables, Grain Store and Parlour, with their exposed rafters, stone walls and wobbly roof lines, are all located around the main courtyard at the heart of the farm while Anna’s Cottage offers greater privacy annexed to the main farmhouse. Shepherds is a more modern, eco-friendly design a short distance from the courtyard providing the perfect hideaway for couples.

Everyone’s welcome to help with morning animal feeding – children especially enjoy feeding the pigs and chickens, herding the ducks and playing with our pygmy goats. And if they’ve still got energy to burn, head to our play barn where we have a selection of ride-on toys, ball games, table tennis, basketball and table football. Or just take it easy and soak up the peace and tranquillity.

The woodlands are simply magical, especially in April and May when the ground is carpeted with bluebells. Dogs are welcome to roam, but don’t forget your wellies, as it can get a bit muddy by the stream in winter.

The animals make the farm a special place for everyone. Twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, kids (and big kids) can join Ruth for a feed-the-animals experience, getting up close with pigs, sheep, alpacas, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, and the cat.
